I'd dropped a little e... oh, sure, you can call it irrational, but I'll tell you the truth, without hyperbole: it's integral to my plot to divide and conquer. You may not see my point, but I find it so much easier to slip away from my pursuers into a repeating fraction now. I might as well be imaginary, as far as they're concerned; there's nothing complex about them.
"They're not even real," I whisper, as they stalk by, sifting the digits, looking for their prime suspect. Their worldview has more holes than a Sierpinski gasket. I've got their number...
