Star-Spangled Bus
brautigan brought to mind again
We're gettin' on
this star-spangled bus.
We're riding
for love of country,
for honor,
to show our respect
for the star-spangled dead.
The seats are hard,
the road is bumpy,
but we know God loves
our sacrifice.
We salute
our drivers in uniform...
