By building this image with the standard 16 DOS colors, I have ensured that it will look virtually the same on any machine. A limited palette and these hotizontal lines have reduced the file size to around 14 KB. I have opted not to save it as an interlaced GIF because the download time is so short. It very much resembles the kind of silk screen prints we used to make using linear Zipatone halftones.
