W elcome to all of you who love the Bichon Bolognese!

The Bichon Bolognese Association of America is a growing group of people who love this brilliant breed. The Bichon Bolognese Association was established in 2000 as a non-profit organization with the simple objective to do what is best for the Bolgonese breed. More precisely, their desire is to share information about the Bolognese, protect and advance the interest of the Bolognese breed, encourage and promote quality in the breeding of purebred Bichon Bolognese, and to do all possible to bring their natural qualities to perfection.

Since inception the BBA has upheld the Italian Bolognese Breed Standard. This standard is maintained by the World Canine Organization, the FCI. The vision of the association founders encompassed breeding an international Bolognese, a Bolognese that can be shown in any country of the world and be recognized as an excellent example of the Bolognese breed. Because of the foresight of the BBA founders, they have opened the door for American Bolognese owners to show their Bolognese internationally, as well as here in the United States.

This dynamic organization is involved in many aspects of owning, raising and breeding Bolognese dogs. The BBA supports inclusion, education, and camaraderie. Joining the BBA is a great way to share experiences, fun stories and pictures.
