he Bolognese is a sturdy small dog, covered with pure white lush coat.
I describe their coat as wavy, may even appear to have a permed look to it when comparing to say the Maltese.
It's coat has also been described as long and fluffy.
They have round dark eyes with black rim pigmentation.
Their face expresses their lively and intelligent nature.
And its all perfectly accented by a black nose.
Bolognese are enterprising!
Highly intelligent and quick to learn.
They are wonderful playmates for older children.
Devoted to their masters and their entourage.
A Bolognese loves to run and jump.
They are able to wag their tail for long periods of time.
They can even help with the laundry by pulling everything out of pants pockets.
They make a hobby out of shredding paper or Kleenex.
And lastly, a Bolognese will demand prompt attention when its master or mistress has been at the computer long enough.

I'm loving this sunshine.
Let's rest on the bench for a minute.
We're often asked if Bolognese get along well with other dogs... Jennifer advises, "When they are little you have to be really careful not to let them get stepped on.
And with our Sydney, for the first year we did not let them cohabitate unless they were supervised. Now, they absolutely LOVE each other. In fact, I am certain all these Bolognese think they are going to grow up to be big dogs like their big sister!”

at Portland, Oregon (PDX).
The road to Barbara's "Villa on the hill" was pretty...
...and pretty long.
When we arrived they swarmed in to say hello.
Everything white wanted to greet us, including . . . snow.
The snow went away, but the white cloud followed us wherever we wandered.
When they found us they sat on us and told us lots of tales.
Pretty soon it was time to leave our spring break paradise.
They were mostly sad to see us go.
Then they just got sadder.
They made us promise to come back . . .
And we said we would!
