The generous contribution of thousands of hours by volunteers allows the museum to be properly staffed and to work successfully on preservation projects and special events. New volunteers are always welcome. There are a variety of volunteer opportunities available in operations, collections and preservation, education, and history.

The museum works to match the interests and available time of individual volunteers with museum needs. You are encouraged to visit, tour the facility, and talk to the other volunteers.
