A Corvallis citizen since the age of three, I grew up wanting to be a builder.  During the early 80’s (while attending Corvallis HS—Class of ‘83) construction looked bad and hi-tech looked like the career to pursue (see Mike’s Resume here); however, I never lost my interest in building. 

 

During this hi-tech career, my wife, Laurie, and I have built 6 homes, 2 basements, 3 bonus rooms, and remodeled another.  Today, I am fortunate to be able to pursue my dream of building beautiful custom homes full-time and I find it very fulfilling. 

 

I founded Chateau Construction (Your Chateau, LLC, CCB# 148496) in July of 2001 with the goal of “Building homes of distinction that are as exceptional as my clients - making their dream a reality.”

 

In 2007, Derek Morse joined Chateau Construction as Project Manager

Derek graduated from Oregon State University with a BS in Construction Engineering Management.
