One of the newest ships in the fleet the Odyssey is a dedicated command and control starship. It is meant to serve as a mobile version of Fleet Headquarters on Mars for large fleets in the field. It has a significantly enhanced communications suite as well as several large conference and briefing rooms. It is still a capable warship but it is designed to withdraw from serious fighting rather than engage in toe-to-toe slugfests.
