About our cattery:

Tairedd Cattery has been in business for over thirty years. In the early years we raised the traditional style "Apple-headed" Siamese. When we saw our first Siamese-Burmese cross in 1971, we were in love! The Tonkinese at that time were only shown in American Cat Fanciers Association (ACFA) under new breeds and colors. We found other breeders of Tonkinese on the East coast and worked with them to get the Tonkinese recognized by Cat Fanciers Federation (CFF) in 1974 and Cat Fanciers Association (CFA) in 1984.

All of our kittens have been raised in the house with humans. From the time they are born, we handle them with loving care. When they start venturing out of their mothers nest they learn to live with us. This way when you adopt your new little one, they are used to being in the house with you, and are wise in the ways of humans.

We breed all of the mink colors:

Natural Mink

Blue Mink

Champagne Mink

Platinum Mink

All the pointed colors of the Siamese and all the Burmese colors. All are under championship competition in CFA cat shows. All of our kittens are from CFA registered parents. Each kitten comes with the first kitten shots, and a written health guarantee. We sell all of our kittens for pets only, they must be neutered or spayed. We feed our kittens IAMS kitten brand dry food. They are all trained to use a cat tree, and litterbox (Mamma does most of that work, but we help.)
