We will learn how to measure, rotary cut, machine piece and appliqué (by hand or machine.) Setting the quilt together with sashing and completing it with borders. Join us for six weeks of learning and fun. Fee $50.00
Janome Machine Instruction Class Judy

If you have purchased a new Janome Sewing Machine form us and need some assistance or questions answered join in on this class. Judy will help you through it all! Free to purchases at our shop of $10.00 if you purchased your machine elsewhere.
Paper Piecing Carol Sat Feb 28
10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Once again, Carol will be teaching paper piecing. With an emphasis on Miniature Quilts. These small quilts don't even require removing the paper to complete. If you want to work on something on a larger scale, then that is also an option. Fee $20.00

Using your fabric and drapery grommets to create a useable, one of a kind bag! Great for yourself or a gift for a friend. Join Sue for a fun filled day! Fee $15.00
Scrappy Stars Cheryl & Cheryl Sat Mar 14

Come join the girls for a fun day of creating a Scrappy Star quilt using squares and rectangles! A great opportunity to use up your scraps or make a planned scrappy quilt.

Machine Quilting Judy Wed Mar 18

Learn how to machine quilt your projects and get them finished. Judy has been teaching this class for years and will ease your fears of tackling them on the machine!

Framed Picture Quilts

These are fun projects you can give as gifts, without costing you much in time or money. Carol will fuide you through, with focus on color intensity and scale in all fabrics from 1800 reproductions, to our newest fabric designs. And most importantly, tips for keeping those points and seams where you want them. So gather up some fat quarters for some early Christmas or other occasion gift making! Fee $20.00

Judy has made this quilt for a guy! As the name indicates it is a great design for a fella! Or you can make a girly quilt my changing your fabric colors! Stop by and look at her sample!

Animal Chain

A perennial favorite that has fusible appliqué combined with simple piecing. Very beginner friendly.

Table Topper Judy Thu May 7

Learn some new techniques to create a table topper. It can be made in two different sizes. Make one to co-ordinate with your decor or better yet make some for your family and friends

Grab your calendar and pencil us in each month for:

Free open sewing on Fridays at 9 a.m. Come and bring your latest projects. We have a great time, and we will be here to help you with any problems you're having (Quilt related only!)

Please note: Be prepared with your supplies before class time. Basic sewing supplies include: rotary cutter, rulers, cutting mat, scissors, pins, needles, thread, pencil, paper and sewing machine. And of course, your reversible sewing tool - better known as a seam ripper!

JANE'S "HOUSE" RULES

1.  We absolutely cannot accept returns on books, patterns & fabric!

2. We will be happy to give you credit on allowable returns.

3. All special order items require a 50% deposit prior to ordering.

4. Classes need to be paid for at the time of registration. If we cancel a class, you will receive credit towards merchandise, toward another class or your money refunded.

5. If you cancel a class, please do so three (3) days prior to the class in order to receive a merchandise credit. Or you may send a friend in your place.

6. There will be a 10% restocking fee on all returns!

7. Some of our classes require patterns -- because of the copyright laws that we must obey.

Things to remember...
We will always have tea and coffee available in the new classroom. We have a refrigerator that you are welcome to use. You are always welcome to bring food to class. If you need a machine, we have them available for your use....just let us know! Fabric requirements for each class are available in the shop.

If it has been a while since you have been in the shop, stop in soon to browse and check out the new fabrics, books, patterns, gifts and Janome Sewing Machines. Bring your latest project - we all love "Show and Tell"! We are always happy to see you!
