I'm
Mustahevonen Debut, the West Coast's first-born Fell pony,
June 14, 2000. I started out in Rainier,
Washington, USA, & now live in Vancouver, Washington, USA.
They say I have that wonderful, curious and friendly nature ...
but I already know that! P.S. My nickname is Doobie. |

I
may be a Fell pony, but don't call me "shorty"! I could
grow to between 13 to 14 hands high. Plenty big for experienced
older children and adults. |

The
ancient Romans did something right. It's thought the stallions they
carted to Britain (guess which breeds!) crossed with native British
ponies and resulted in ... me! Thanks, Hadrian! |

Whoopee!
Throw away the scissors! Our long manes, tails, whiskers, and feather
around our hooves aren't trimmed for showing. |

There
are nearly 250 Fell ponies in North America and I'm one of
'em.
Most of my Fell relatives live in the fells (hills)
of Cumbria, in northwest England. We're one of the 9 British Native
Pony breeds. |

"Yankee
Doodle went to London, riding on a pony ..." Was it a Fell?
Nowadays, Queen Elizabeth has some of her Fells at Balmoral Castle,
Scotland ... and is the Patron of the Fell Pony Society. |

Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh, has regularly driven a
four-in-hand team of Her Majesty's
Fells in three-day
competitions. |
