Doobie - head, 2003

August 2004

More pictures at last!

I'm growing up and getting kind of "glamorous"!
See more photos of me with my
Minnesota visitors in Doobie's Diary.

My fourth birthday was June 14, 2004!

June 2003

My pal, Roxanne, went to the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, and met my grandfather, *Orton Hall Danny. What a talented Fell! He's the father of my mum, Midnightvalley Poppy. Poppy started the "family tradition", being the first Fell at the Horse Park in 2002.

Winter's finally over!

Find out what I did and where I went in Doobie's Diary.

I'll be 3 years old June 14, 2003!

I graduated with neighing honors from ground work summer school! While I learned sooo much, I also taught Americans, who'd never seen a hairy British pony like me, that I'm not a Friesian, but a real, live Fell. Find out more in Doobie's Diary.

Doobie stepping into the red horse trailer

I had a bath and headed off in the red horse trailer for "summer school" with Kathy McClarrinon in Yelm, Washington.

Wow!  My first time away from home!  It's only 12 miles, but I'm leaving my Fell pony family for 6 weeks.  At least my pal, Roxanne, will be there, and we'll learn all about this "ground work" stuff I keep hearing about.

I'm a pony that's ready to learn!
... and think I'll really like working with Kathy McClarrinon and her gentle vaquero way ...

Even though I can't read,
I bet you'd be interested in
reading more about Kathy
in the article,
"Dances with Horses".

Summer 2002

My mum, Midnightvalley Poppy, who's living in Virginia, was the Fell pony entry in the Kentucky Horse Park's daily Parade of Breeds. This was a first for Fells! [Lexington, Kentucky]

Here she's carrying a "princess" riding sidesaddle!
More photos are on my mum's page.
