On April 20, 2012, the Hulda Klager Lilac Gardens Society welcomes, Jane Kirkpatrick, the award-winning author of Where Lilacs Still Bloom, (WaterBrook, April 17, 2012). The critically acclaimed book follows fifty-years of Hulda Klager’s life on a farm in Woodland, Washington, beginning at the turn of the 20th century. Kirkpatrick’s presentation occurs the day before the official opening of 2012 Lilac Days - attendees receive free access to the 1880’s farmhouse and the gardens – open from 11am to 2pm for this important event.
