Astoria is located just a few short hours from Seattle, Portland, Newport, and Corvallis. An excellent place to pause and enjoy the local history, with ocean beaches and mountain hikes just minutes away.

GRAND RECREATION

Golfing, clam-digging, beach coming, surfing, fishing and boating are all just a short drive away. You can hike to the Astoria Column, watch the boats drift down the Columbia, stroll about town and visit the various galleries and cafes, or simply sit bird or cloud watch.

GRAND POINTS OF INTEREST

Our Victorian home is located on the Historic Homes Walking Tour. Nearby are the Maritime Museum, Heritage Museum, Columbia Lightship, and 100 year old churches. Ships from all over the world dock in Astoria's harbor, some have tours.

GRAND HOME ATMOSPHERE

Complete breakfast is complimentary and consists of coffee choices, several varieties of teas and hot cocoa, milk, fruit juices, a full fruit bowl, hot out of the oven muffins, and fresh smoked Lox served with toasty bagels and cold cream cheese. All rooms are light and cheerful. (No smoking or intoxicants here!) Most rooms have hardwood floors, with breathtaking views of the Columbia River, and Astoria Column. Also in the rooms you will find books for reading, games, and one free book to lift your spirit.
