A grocery store clerk envisions that his current customer, who is purchasing a large pile of hot dogs, is en route to participate in a ritualistic hot dog eating contest in unison with a televised scene from the Bill Murray B-movie 80's film "Meatballs". Even though he loses, he is swept away into a hot dog induced euphoria amidst the sights and sounds of tongue in cheek psychedelia. The clerk's indulgent daydream is abruptly interrupted, only to be returned to the mundane yet colorful existence of his job.
