Magenta Theater Presents:

Crossing Delancey

February 12th-27th  2010

Synopsis

Isabelle is a modern young woman who lives alone and works in a bookshop. When she is not pining after a handsome author, she is visiting her grandmother in Manhattan's Lower East Side.

This delightfully nosey old lady and her friend the matchmaker have found a "good catch" for Isabelle-- Sam the handsome pickle vendor.

So who will Isabelle choose? Or will she choose at all?

"Crossing Delancey" is set, for the most part, inside a small bookstore.  Magenta Theater asks patrons to please bring a new or gently-used book, suitable for children and youth, to the performances.  The donated books will be delivered to Open House Ministries in late February.  Patrons are asked to provide their name with the donation, so they can be recognized on our website.

As Magenta Theater now has its own facility, there are some new needs that have arisen, along with the usual ones.  Please, will you take a moment to look over the list to see where you might be able to make a contribution?  All donations are tax-deductible, as allowed by law.
