Age to walk without falling over ?

At what age should an African Male Cub be able to walk surefooted? michael

I would think that by 4 to 6 weeks old the cub should be walking on its own just fine. It might have a little unsteadyness yet but should be able to walk for several yards without tipping. Glenda :)

Hello,my cub is walking and stumbling alot, hes about 19 pounds and is 7 1/2 weeks old. He seems to walk better on carpet and grass, but falls every 2 feet sometimes 8 feet, like his back legs fall out from under him. he was C-Sectioned at birth and the other two cubs died at birth. Its been several years since I've raised one and couldnt remember..... hes seeing fine and he's come along way from 3 pounds at birth. thanks for info. michael

As long as he is getting enough calcium in the diet it doesn't sound like anything out of the ordinary at this point. I bet he's very very sweet! Glenda :)
