Weaning Baby to Adult Food

My husband & I have been raising exotic cats for over 6 years now. We have tigers, lions, leopards, cougars, lynx & bobcats. All our babies are weaned onto raw chicken or turkey. Later, they eat a beef blend carnivore food similar to Zupreem. At the moment, we have 2 bobcats, 1 leopard, 2 lynx & 1 cougar between 6 & 8 weeks of age, all being weaned onto ground turkey.
I am not familiar with the Mazuri, but I am skeptical. Check the fiber content. If there is very much at all, her stools will be very loose & have a terrible odor.
Our very first kitten was a Canadian Lynx. She was raised on chicken hindquarters. We started out cooking them, but found that wasn't really necessary. You must keep in mind that these animals are CARNIVORES.
I also recommend the Zupreem. Do not feed beef exclusively. In a young animal, it will leach the calcium out of the body & cause a condition called Metabolic Bone Disease.
The formula you are feeding now sounds fine, you can start introducing solid at any time now. Our lynxes started eating meat at 5 weeks. Good luck to you with your lynx, you are in for the time of your life! : )
