Welcome to the website for Seattle based artist Kirk McCann. I have studied classical drawing and painting at the Gage Academy of Art, and work in a realist style. The subjects of my oils and watercolors are landscapes, seascapes, figures, nudes and floral still lifes. The inspiration for many of my paintings are my travels to tropical islands like Hawaii, the Cook Islands, Mexico, Puerto Rico and the Bahamas. I hope to portray a sense of natural serenity found in Earth's beautiful places and people.
