Disklavier pianos by Yamaha

The best player piano made today

Disklaviers are factory installed in Yamaha pianos only! Last I checked they came in a few grands, and a few console sized pianos along with a 48" piano. For the lastest on models and features you can join a list of Disklavier users by emailing dug-request@netsurftech.com, putting a period in the subject line, then typing subscribe dug your_full_email_adr in the message body of the letter. It should look similar to this using my email adr instead,

Turn off all your automatic tag lines, signature lines and the like before you mail this. You'll start receiving posts sent to everyone on the list and responded to by anyone else on the list. This list has some pretty good stuff to follow if you're a Disklavier user. If you're thinking of purchasing a DKV, this list is a good place to get some answers from the factory people as well as the people who own them. Personally, I like the DKV for it's sound, function and technical achievements. It's a really nice piano with a heavily engineered apparatus impeccably installed. If you can afford the price and you like the sound, buy it. You'll never be sorry. It's the best the market has to offer right now for that combination of features.
