About
Shady Hill
Facility
Shady Hill is located on 40 acres of serene pastures
and woodlands. We have
specially constructed half-acre
exercise areas to provide a safe, low-stress, healthy environment for your
dog(s) to enjoy. We couple
this with lots of individual attention and the same loving care we give to
our own dogs.
Design
In designing Shady Hill, we kept in mind the natural
habits of your pet, which allows us to provide care in the healthiest way;
care not just for the physical needs of your pet, but also for the
emotional needs as well.
Visits
We encourage you to visit Shady Hill and personally
get all your questions answered before making a reservation. Visiting hours are 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday thru
Saturday.
Frank and Kathy Liles
Owners and live on-sight operators
Frank and Kathy have been involved in the raising and
showing of purebred Great Pyrenees dogs for over thirty years.
They have literally traveled coast to coast with their dogs and are
nationally recognized as one of America’s top breeders.
Kathy has been involved in the breed Rescue Program for many years.
She was Rescue Chairman for the Great Pyrenees Club of America and still remains the Northwest Regional Coordinator.
As a result of this experience, they recognized that there was a
definite need in their area for a first class boarding facility that
catered to the special needs of larger dogs.
Shady Hill started as a vision to meet that need and has now become
a reality.
