Amenities

Food

We feed Eagle Pack dog food.  It’s the very same high quality, premium food that we feed to our Great Pyrenees show dogs.  However, some dogs may fair better on their own food from home. Owner supplied food should be in a sealed container with specific feeding instructions.

Every evening at bedtime, our guests enjoy a complimentary dog biscuit treat.

Toys

We have a variety of toys for the dogs to play with.  You are welcome to provide toys from home if you desire, however we are not responsible for articles left with your pet as sometimes a tug-of-war game becomes a “rip-the-toy-in-half” game.

Beds

We provide clean blankets for bedding.  If your pet has a special bed he or she sleeps in, you are welcome to bring it.  We will keep it safe.

Playtime

We happily give plenty of daily playtime, because we know it provides the release of excess energy and social interaction that keeps dogs happy and healthy. 

Hikes

Hiking and walking trails criss-cross Shady Hill’s natural setting and extend into the National Forest.  Hikes (for a nominal fee) are often the highlight of the day for both the dogs and us, because lots of activities are your pet’s idea of a fun vacation.
