Many Bengals from a Recent Breeder Dump
Bonded Pair of Melanistic Boys
These two beauties are very bonded to each other and need to be rehomed together. They are ready to go to their forever home, are fully vetted, tested and neutered. We guestimate their age to be somewhere around 10 months old. They should not go to homes with young children. Melanistic Bengals are black Bengals with spots. They are like little black panthers. The foster mom was able to capture the spots in one of her photographs.

The foster mom has this to say about the boys: ”The boys are very sweet. I am calling them "Champ" and "Bailey". Champ is the larger one and semi overweight... especially for a Bengal. And Bailey is much leaner. They are both very sweet boys. Rolling over and rubbing all over me. For behavior the only thing I see at the moment is they're not sure when you try to pick them up. I will sit down and do mock pick ups and neither of them seem to like it but they don't really do much to me when I do. They haven't scratched or anything but they both wiggle and pull up their back feet like they're going to use them to get out. So probably families with young kids like my daughter that always tries to pick up cats might not be the best of homes. I will try more with them and see how they progress. They both get in my lap though and roll around wanting their bellies rubbed. Both are good natured.
Bailey is long and much leaner. More reserved at first but will come out and play after Champ comes out first. It doesn't take much to get him to come over and get loved on though. His coat isn't as plush but I'm sure people won't mind.
Its obvious they're litter mates so it would be great if they could be homed together since they're so sweet with each other.
Also they are settling in very easily and quickly. Using the litter box with no problems too.
In the pictures I tried to get one up close too so you can see their coats for people that haven't seen a melanistic bengal. Its hard to see their spots but they are there."

Georgeous George, 6-7 year old boy
Gorgeous George is a beautiful spotted Bengal who needs lots of love. He has a low throaty meow, is playful, and purrs a lot. He is an extremely loving cat and doesn't mind being picked up if he knows if it is to sit in your lap. His litter box habits are good and he doesn't have any behavior problems. My veterinarian estimated him to be around six or seven years old, however, he has bad teeth that will require medical attention. We believe that he would get along with other cats since he is very mellow. The people that surrendered him wrote that he loves older children and elderly people.

George is fixed, FIV/FELV negative and up to date on his vaccinations.

Another Breeder Dump
MaMaKo and 3 Girl Kittens
Another silver marble girl along with her kittens were unceremoniously dumped in the same manner that the Bengals were dumped in November. Based on MaMaKo's look, along with the way the little family was dumped, we are fairly certain that they come from the same cattery as the two boys above.

MaMaKo, Silver Marble Girl
This latest group consists of MaMaKo, a beautiful one year old silver marble girl and two of her kittens. The kittens are Bengal crosses, and are precious. MaMaKo and the kittens are now spayed, vetted and up to date on their vaccinations. The two kittens, Cami and Tiggi are very bonded to each other and need to find a home together

The foster mom has this to say about MaMaKo: ”MaMaKo is a slender, athletic, silver marble Bengal . Her background color is silver with dark charcoal markings, her belly is creamy white with two rows of large spots going all the way down her belly. MaMaKo will attach to one or two people particularly. MaMaKo comes when she is called by name and will follow her favorite person around, talk to them and find resting places near them. MaMaKo will talk with different tones to say different things. She will make eye contact when she is talking to you. She is very active and on the move all the time. MaMaKo enjoys watching the birds through the privacy glass window, she will leap in the air and catch bugs in flight, and climb to the high places to explore. MaMaKo likes to sleep in a little basket; to perch on the highest rung of the cat tree; or to nap on a tall bookcase. MaMaKo can be playful and will come ask to be petted. She will roll around and show her pretty spotted belly. When petted she will lift her head and look at you to show her approval. MaMaKo enjoys playing with the globe and spinning it around. MaMaKo is inquisitive and is always exploring. She has a lot of fun with a pile of empty boxes, playing the piano by walking on the keys, or shredding the toilet paper. She will sometimes walk over the computer keyboard, printer controls or get tangled in the computer’s electrical cords but MaMaKo is easily re-directed when her explorations get out of hand. MaMaKo does not like to be picked up and will get growly if she is handled too much. MaMaKo has lived with other cats, a dog and children. However she prefers human company to that of other cats and would be happiest in a quiet home with no other animals or young children. "

Cami & Tiggi Bonded Pair of Kittens
Camie and Tiggi are MaMaKo's kittens. They are 4 months old Bengal cross girls who are very bonded to each other.

The foster mom has this to say about Tiggi: ”We call ‘Tiggi’ the Bengaly kitty because she has the most obvious Bengal influence both in her looks and personality. Her front and back legs have bold striping on them, her back has a mixture of small stripes and spots and her belly has two rows of big black spots on a white background. This Bengaly kitten will run over the top rung of the chairs rungs, climb up the window screens, and jump up to all the high places. Pictures may go flying off the wall in her wake and things may tumble. Tiggie loves high places and jumps large spans at a time. She is extremely active and inquisitive. Tiggie was enthralled watching the second hand on the clock, and the birds through the window with privacy glass. Tiggie loves to play ball and plays with both her paws and her mouth, carrying the ball around with her. Tiggie does not like to be picked up and carried around but she will jump into your lap when she is ready to nap. She does not like to nap alone or to be alone at night. She will always look either for another cat or a person to snuggle with. Before she snoozes off, Tiggie will look up into your eyes and purr loudly. Tiggie enjoys older children, other cats, and has had some exposure to a dog. When she is approached Tiggie will begin purring in anticipation when a person is still a foot away from her. Tiggie needs a safe environment to explore, plenty of companionship and lots of things to do."

Tiggi Tiggi Tiggi

Currently we only have one picture of Cami. She does look exactly like her sister Phi, who is pictured below with Tiggi
The foster mom has this to say about Cami:
”Cami was named Cami for Camouflage because her Bengal markings are obscured by an overall tortie coat. Her belly spots are rust and cream on black instead of black on white. Cami has a black nose. Cami is a quiet, laid back but still very active kitty. She prefers not to be picked up as she does not like to hold still that long. She will wiggle herself out of your arms only to jump right back up on your lap for a nap. She loves to find unusual nooks and crannies to hide, play and sleep. Cami is very bonded to Tiggie and is accustomed to being with other cats and with older pre-teen children. Cami purrs loudly and frequently whenever she is petted or given attention and she and will talk now and again. Cami enjoys the bird window and will hang from the cover blanket by her claws down just far enough that she thinks the birds can’t see her. If she is spoken to with eye contact, Cami will begin to purr and come over to see you."

Arista, 3 Year Old Spayed Girl
Arista is one aristocratic girl. One afternoon we got a call from an animal shelter saying they had a Bengal and it had to be out that day or it would be euthanized. We figured she must be one naughty Bengal to get herself in that much trouble. Thankfully that wasn't the case. As a typical Bengal if something displeases her, she let's people know. Either by vocalizing the way any civilized Bengal would understand, or by hissing at the humans of lower intelligence. Apparently the shelter workers didn't speak Bengal. We were ecstatic to get Arista home and find out what a fantastic cat she is. She's so sweet, and very laid back. We're still not sure how she does with other cats, but we'll start the introductions slowly once she is better settled in. We apologize that the pictures don't show her Bengal markings as well as they should. We'll try for better pictures, but we're betting someone snaps her up before we have a chance to do so. This is a GREAT Bengal.

If you are interested in Arista, please contact Ellen Fawl e-mail: Ellen@purebredsplus.org or Or call (707) 592-8770. If you can't reach Ellen, please call (707) 301-RESQ and ask for Cyndi. She doesn't foster this cat, but she does know our adoption process and she can find out more about you, what you need, and help you get started on the process. This Bengal is not with California Bengal Cat Rescue.

Iodine is a lovely 4 year old spayed girl. She's a Cashmere, a long-haired Bengal, originally from Jean Mills, very sweet and cuddly. She needs to be rehomed where there are no children or other pets. The ideal home for Iodine would be with someone who is retired or works from home.

Toby a Lovely Declawed Boy
Toby is a fixed front declawed 8 year old boy. He was born on February 28th, 2000. Toby is a papered and fixed Bengal. Originally, Toby had a buddy who he was very bonded to. Unfortunately his previous owner coldly separated them, giving his friend away. Toby probably gets along with other cats.

He was described by his previous owner:Toby has the energy of a kitten. He is playful and quirky. He tends to be loyal to one person but will warm up to others with exposure. He does things on his terms. Toby is a great cat.

If you are interested in Toby, please contact Marilyn by e-mail: marilynk1@sbcglobal.net

In November we rescued a litter of kittens along with their mom. The kittens have found homes, now the mom, Cheetah Lee needs a new forever home. Cheetah Lee is spayed and up to date on her vaccinations.

The foster mom has this to say about Cheetah Lee: “Cheetah” is a beautiful brown spotted 5 year old female with papers. Cheetah is very affectionate, giving nose rubs and head butts. She loves people and will follow you from room to room. Cheetah is OK cat friendly dogs, but is aggressive with other cats. She would be happiest as an only cat.

Cheetah Lee is spayed, FIV/FELV negative and up to date on her vaccinations. If you are interested in Cheetah Lee, please contact Marilyn by e-mail: marilynk1@sbcglobal.net

Needs a New Home ASAP!
Natasha, a beautiful marble, is about 1.5 years old. She needs a home where she has a human female companion to bond to, since she doesn't do well around men. Natasha also needs to be the only cat in the household.

The foster dad has this to say about Natasha:She is a quiet one, hardly ever talks, aloof but when she wants attention she jumps on my wife's lap and demands to be petted. She plays fetch with my nieces and nephews, they are 8 years old a little younger. She is about 10-12 lb.

Hobbes
5 Year Old Neutered & Declawed
Needs a New Home ASAP!
Hobbes is a beautiful papered boy in need of a new home ASAP.
Hobbes, an F4 Bengal, is approximately 5 years old, de-clawed in the front. He gets along well with some cats, depending on the personalities of the cats. He should not be rehomed where there are young children and he does not get along with dogs at all. Hobbes is also very vocal, something to consider, if you live in an apartment situation. He is up to date on all of his shots and vaccines. He needs a loving home where his sweet personality can blossom. He is affectionate and loves being pet but dislikes being held.

Hobbes is up-to-date on vaccines and has been vet checked.

He gets along with most other cats, but only when introduced properly and slowly. Hobbes does not like dogs and should not be around children under the age of 8.

If you are interested in Hobbes, please contact Marilyn by e-mail: marilynk1@sbcglobal.net
