Technical Writing | It's My Job

I write technical manuals, help, and other such things for a living. Oh, and I like it. Besides the intrinsic satisfaction of stringing words together into something, I enjoy playing around with the things that I am to write about. All in all, technical writing is not a bad choice for someone who enjoys writing and learning new things.

My work has been in the software industry, but many others do similar work for other industries ranging from hardware of various kinds to the legal field. There is probably some technical writing taking place in any sizable metropolitan area.
