The Oregon Math Leaders Conference (OML) is an annual gathering of math leaders with a common focus: improving math instruction in Oregon. This summer OML will focus on incorporating connections to math that are relevant and real across the grades from Kindergarten to Grade 12. The Oregon Math Leaders Conference will be held August 7-9, 2011 at Linfield College in McMinnville, Oregon.
Consider yourself to be a Math Leader if:
You are interested in improving your math teaching skills.
You work with other teachers in your building, district, region, or around the state to improve math education for all.
You like to share curriculum materials with your colleagues.
Math Leaders are nominated by their colleagues, OCTM area representatives, or themselves, as space permits, based on their interest and participation in mathematics education in their community, school district, or grade level. Nominate someone who reaches out and helps other teachers to be better math teachers. Nominate yourself. Please print out the nomination form and send it to:
