American Public Works Association Accreditation Evaluator Training

The American Public Works Association has developed a manual for Evaluators to acquaint them with The APWA Public Works Management Practices Manual and other aspects of APWA Accreditation Council Procedures. The first evaluator training class using the new manual was conducted in Lenexa Kansas on 2003 and Las Vegas Nevada on July 30, 2004. John Ostrowski presented the background of the Management Practices and provided practical guidance for interpreting the practice statements as well as guiding the class through exercises designed to make them more familiar and comfortable with the site assessment process.
