The Society for Irrational Causes exists to promote the most overlooked matters of our modern culture.  Our agenda is broad and absurd.

Everyone is concerned about the cost of healthcare.  The SIC is not.
 
We are concerned about legalizing the naming of bacteria:

We stand behind those who wish for a bacteria registry, so that you can name a bacteria for a person of your choosing, just like you can with the stars.  Who would you name a bacteria for?  Which bacteria?
