Swedish laws governing Make Money Fast/Chain Letter Schemes

From a reader:
The chain letter scams described on your page are illegal in Sweden as well, the law is called "Lotterilag (1994:1000)" and it's the law applying to arranging lotteries without the proper permit (permits are only given to non-profit organisations or if the goal is to raise money for the public good).

The URL for the full text of the law is http://www.notisum.se/rnp/sls/lag/19941000.HTM

In ß3 a lottery is defined as including a chain-letter in sub-paragraph 3.

ß45 says that chain-letter lotteries will not be given a permit.

ß54 says that the punishment is a fine or inprisonment for no more than six months, if the crime is sever it can give inprisonment in no more than two years.

ß58 says that the equipment (this could mean the computer), property, documents, profits and so on used in the crime will be confiscated.
