The French Connection Variant

This one takes the whole thing and tries to hide its illegality as a "game" - note that I did not encounter this one myself, as I have all the others I have put up here on the pages, but rather saw it in news.admin.net-abuse.usenet. The poster there was alerting others to it, and did some rough translation, which I have left in, as I do not speak french well enough to do it myself. Instead, I will leave the translator's comments in (in red, as mine usually are).

[Hello, and welcome to the 1st entirely francophone cyubergame (accessable to cybernauts world-wide). Playing and winning is very simple; a few rules of the road will suffice.]

[You're in a Ferrari, but there's traffic lights -- see the bottom of the message. Your mission is to pass the green light, but there're others on the road.]

[To pass the green light...send 10FF or US$2 to the loser on the bottom of the list, and move yourself up. The next person will...{MMF}]

[Finally, post this message with appropriate address modifications to as many people/newsgroups as you can, so other players can get to the green light and hit the jackpot!]

Bonne chance et bonne route!!!

[Good luck and happy spamming!!!]
