Company Profile

Union Corner Construction was incorporated in 1981 as a General Contractor engaged in providing construction services exclusively in the commercial arena.  Our name has become synonymous with integrity, service and client satisfaction.

The company name, Union Corner Construction, refers to the original geographical location of the business, which is an unincorporated community within central Clark County, Washington.  Over time the small community has been absorbed by the significant growth in the area, and many of the people inhabiting the neighborhood are unaware of its original name and history.

Union Corner Construction, Inc. is a Washington Corporation licensed to do work in Washington and Oregon, and is owned by Rick Porter who serves as President.  We contract for individual projects ranging from just a few thousand dollars to nearly $7,000,000.00.  We generally self perform the concrete work and portions of the carpentry work.

Our growth over the last twenty years has included a wide variety of new construction and renovations.  We have extensive experience with the following building types: Concrete tilt-ups, wood-framed, steel, masonry and pre-engineered metal buildings.  We have built office buildings, warehouses, fire stations, schools, athletic facilities, manufacturing facilities, golf courses, medical and dental facilities.

We are active in both the private and public sectors.  Our survival in the public market is evidence of our ability to competitively price the work.  Our success in the private arena proves that we are quality conscious and service oriented.

We have never failed to complete a project and have never been forced into litigation with our valued clients.  We understand your need for detailed estimating, careful planning and scheduling, coordination with the design team, acute management of construction activity and team mentality throughout the course of the entire construction effort.
