VPCUG sponsors monthly meetings with the membership and guests in mind, hosting
speakers of interest to the club. It is open to the public. The goal of this meeting
is to bring together all members and guests once a month to enjoy a memorable presentation
of interest to the computer users of our metropolitan community.
Some presentations are given by gifted members and some are done by software or hardware
companies. Much can be learned by attending these monthly meetings. Afterwards, if time
permits, a question and answer session usually follows allowing for specific computer
problems and questions to be addressed.
There are also various groups of members who meet on a regular basis to discuss
computer topics of mutual interest. These are smaller groups which give a more personal
touch to learning about the computer. Additionally, there is a monthly newsletter,
the News Byte, which attempts to keep members abreast of club activities and news
of interest.
