Submitting Work for Evaluation or Processing

Submitting work for Pre-evaluation can be done on a case by case basis.

We highly recommend working from the original source files whether it is an audio or video tape, or other medium.   This is due to the degradation losses that can occur in background information as well as the detail tractability when anything is copied.  We can for certain types of jobs however and for job evaluation purposes only work from a clean copy but only for evaluation prior to accepting a job for actual processing.   

Image and Fingerprint enhancement can only be evaluated or processed from the original medium.   

If time lines are going to be a factor in processing submitted work they must be approved and agreed upon before work is submitted.   While we will always attempt to get work back out of the lab in a timely manner some jobs just take longer than others.    Delay's with follow up communications can also delay getting a processing job out of the lab in a timely manner.   

All work submitted must be pre-approved in advance and be submitted with all required forms and documentation completed and any required advance fees paid in full by the method agreed upon.  If you are in the local area of Portland, Oregon we can either pick up and deliver the work to retain a chain of evidence path or it can be submitted through Certified US Mail with a signed return receipt.   If you are outside of our local area, work can be submitted through the US Mail, again it should always  be sent Certified with a return receipt.  If you would prefer another method of shipping please contact us and we can work out the details.
